Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) Pride Month is celebrated in the U.S. each June. Pride Month honors the legacy of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising with celebrations of LGBTQ culture, accomplishments, and activism.
