Take the Cybersecurity Knowledge Assessment
Version 1.0 of the Cybersecurity Knowledge Assessment (CKA) is now open to respondents.
The CKA is a multiple-choice learning tool designed to teach those who are less experienced in the IT field basic-but-important cybersecurity concepts as well as to act as a refresher to those with experience. The CKA uses the NIST Cybersecurity Framework as a foundation and consists of 89 questions from 11 different IT topics CMS employees and contractors may encounter on a daily basis.
The CKA doesn't have to be completed in one sitting. You can leave and return to it at any time so long as you use the same browser and device. There will be a section for you at the end to leave anonymous feedback.
Both CMS and contractor staff are welcome to complete this survey at https://cmsgov.typeform.com/to/YO49tucd.
If you have any questions or concerns, contact Cole Schenck via CMS Slack or at peter.schenck@cms.hhs.gov.
